BY ANTHONY COOK, Editor-in-Chief
Our reading session is closed as of today, April 1. Thank you to all who submitted. We have received a lot of exciting work, some of which we’re still reading. One thing is already clear, though: Issue 23.2, due out in July, is shaping up to be a fantastic one. It will feature interviews with T.C. Boyle and Bob Hicok, poetry by Jeff Skinner and Julia Story, the winning entry of the 2011 Wabash Prize for Fiction (selected by guest judge Antonya Nelson and to be announced soon), and much more.
In the meantime, we will continue to accept submissions to the 2011 Wabash Prize for Poetry throughout the summer. Poet Louise Glück will serve as final judge. The winner will receive $1,000 and publication in Issue 24.1-Winter/Spring 2011. See the full guidelines here.
We’ll begin accepting regular submissions again August 1. As you polish those submissions, remember to check back here often for sneak peeks of soon-to-be-published fiction, poetry, essays, reviews, and art.
