Political Sex

Robert Olen Butler has a new book of stories this spring that imagines the sex lives of famous political figures. The UK Times has the story. They focus on how he imagines sex between Charles and Diana, but also mention that he has a story about Bill and Hilary Clinton and George and Laura Bush. From the way it sounds, this book has the potential to be terrible or riveting (mainly because it sounds like a bad idea--I find well-handled bad ideas riveting).

Well this is a variation of "what the butler saw" - I think these stories are likely to be an excellent contender for the "bad sex" awards given by another British newspaper, "The Guardian". I would prefer to get the story from the horse's mouth - say from the days of Catherine the Great. Of course that would require quite a lot of imagination, and certainly would be so controversial that even before it is published, it would be famous - of course it is possible that the story was a cruel and distasteful invention of someone or group that bore her grudge...
