The War on the Caps Lock Key

capslock.jpgThis story has snowballed slightly since yesterday when it was posted unceremoniously on Slashdot.  Since its initial declaration, the Capsoff movement has gained a blog, a wiki, and a Wired article.  Basically, these people are calling for either a repositioning or (more emphatically) a complete removal of the caps lock key from standard keyboards. Personally, I find the damn thing a MENACE menace.

This all reminds me a little of the Ban Comic Sans movement.

P.S. Here's an easy 17 step process for disabling the caps lock on a Mac.  Have fun.
